Well yesterday was a day of firsts, my first Thai massage and my first intimate skypage...
Tuesday was spent being a bonkers bird in Bangkok and managing to fook most things up so I decided my second day in SE Asia required a leisurely start. After a much deserved lie in (was up 'til 3am drinking with Dave's mate Mike) I wondered down to Lumphini Park for a fix of greenery and some P and Q.
It's no Heaton Park but pleasant enough; it's where Thai folk go to escape the fannyesque nature of their capital city. Photos 1 to 5 are of the park, I particularly liked the herding treelephants. The sculpture is entitled 'Plant of Life' and caught my attention for some reason.
After a lunch of unidentified street food I went in search of the ultimate Thai massage. Never a bloody gain! 500 Baht to allow a 4 ft Thai midget bird pummel the crap out of me for 2 hours! I would of screamed aloud in pain but I'm from Manch and way to hard.
Today has been a day of choringtons, book hostel in Cambodia and reserve bus ticket for tomorrow. I did make the effort to go to the Grand Palace after getting it so wrong on day 1. Totally breath taking and well worth the trip (see remainder of photos). I could give you the low down on the facts; built by King Ratatouille the first in 1782, but if you are that arsed look it up on Wikipedia....
Well I know you are all desperate to know about first number two but I ain't prepared to spill the old beanios. Rights are reserved for when I have the adilady franchise and pencil cases, lunch boxes, condoms, and lubricants are on the shelves. Will also require a very lucrative film deal and permish from the other party.
Off for beers with Mike (he rescued me from teeny backpacker hell and have been kipping in his spare room). Next installment from Cambodia, Adi lady loves you all and says over and out xx
Fantastic Blog am gonna get my dad to follow your saga xx
